Geotextile Tubes (Titan Tubes)

Geotextile Tubes are often referred to as geotubes, geocontainers, geobags, soil tubes, geotextile containers, or dewatering bags. Our Titan Tubes are a are a cost effective containment solution for dewatering and desludging or protection. Titan’s geotubes are composed of high-tenacity polypropylene yarns, which are woven into a network that supports the high demands required for marine applications. They resist ultraviolet deterioration, rotting, and biological degradation, and are inert to most naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis, and acids.

Titan Tubes are put into action by hooking up pump hoses onto the pre-manufactured fitting on the tube. Then, the existing fluids in the cell that requires the desludging are pumped into the geotextile tube. The Titan Tube functions by filtering the solids from the liquids. Once the tube is filled and completely drained of excess fluid, it can be cut open and dried sludge can be removed with a loader and a dump truck.

Geotextile tubes are available in different fabrics to meet your flow rate needs and strength requirements, and in different colors and sizes for a variety of projects. Titan tubes are prefabricated in 15′, 30′, 45′, and up to 120′ circumferences in 15′ increments with standard lengths of 100′ and 200′.
